At a General Assembly of the Student Council at the Medical University of Varna, a decision was made to hold the elections for members of the Student Council for the 2026–2028 term.
The deadline for submitting applications was 02.04 (Thursday) at 11:59 PM. We present to you the profiles of the candidates who submitted their applications within the designated deadline.
Please note that the voting will take place on April 8th via the Webstudent platform in the "Surveys" section. Further information and detailed instructions will be provided in the upcoming days.

Alper Shener Ahmed
Alper is a first-year student in the Medicine degree program. He possesses a strong work ethic and the ability to remain resilient under pressure, allowing him to adapt effectively to the challenges of medical studies. He is a highly efficient team player who values collaboration and is dedicated to being a reliable, hardworking contributor.Alper is strongly motivated to join the Student Council to establish a solid connection between first-year students and the university administration, ensuring that his peers' collective needs are accurately represented. Within the organization, he is eager to coordinate events, manage informational campaigns, and lead projects that enhance the overall academic and social experience at the Medical University of Varna.
Aqil Saif
Aqil is a highly effective communicator who combines professional confidence with a natural ability to show empathy when needed. Jesna is a first-year student already actively involved in the MU-Varna English Book Club. Müslüm is a dedicated first-year medical student currently serving as Group Leader of Group 7, where he excels at coordinating academic matters and facilitating communication between students and faculty. His key strengths include reliability, organizational talent, and a natural ability to mediate effectively.
