Teddy Bear hospital

The time has come for one of the favorite campaigns of the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria-Varna, namely “Teddy Bear Hospital”.

On 23.02. from 11:00 to 15:00Delta Planet Mall (Level 0) will bring together medical students and children in one of their favourite activities- the care of their little fluffy friends. Filled with love and enthusiasm, future doctors are again ready to show the younger ones that “white-apron people” are not as scary as they seem. Adolescents will have the opportunity to put themselves in the surgeons’, dentists’, cardiologists’, orthopedists’ and many more specialists’ shoes, taking care of their favourite toys.

Every child who wants to participate is advised to bring a teddy bear with them as well.

The second part of the campaign will be held on February 24 (Monday) from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at the Pediatrics Clinic (5th floor, St. Marina Hospital). For participation you can contact the main event coordinator – Hristina Tarakchieva (tel. 089 368 1661).

IMPORTANT: The number of spots is limited!

The final lecture will be held on 27.02. (Thursday) from 6:30 pm in the 1st Auditorium in the Main university building. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Dimitrichka Bliznakova.

This initiative will be organized for the tenth consecutive year thanks to the Association of Students of Pharmacy in the City of Varna (ASFV), the Association of Students in Dental Medicine (ASDM) and the Student Council of the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov ”- Varna. The Clinic of Pediatrics at the University Hospital “St. Marina, as well as the Alliance for People with Rare Diseases.
